Technical Ministry
The Technical Ministry at RCCG Restoration House Calgary serves as the backbone of the church’s technical and IT infrastructure. This team ensures that the church’s audio, video, and IT systems function seamlessly to support worship services, special programs, and other church activities, creating an environment where God’s Word can be delivered effectively.
Our Mission:
To leverage technical expertise to enhance the worship experience and support the church’s mission through reliable, innovative, and efficient technical and IT solutions.
What We Do:
- Audio and Visual Support:
- Manage and operate the church’s PA (Public Address) system to ensure clear and effective sound delivery during services and events.
- Handle video recording, streaming, and projection systems to enhance the worship experience and allow remote participation.
- IT Systems and Network:
- Maintain and support the church’s computers, networks, and IT equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide technical support for software applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement updates, patches, and upgrades to keep systems secure and up to date.
- Project Support:
- Plan and execute technical projects, such as upgrading audio, video, and IT equipment.
- Research and recommend new technologies to improve the church’s technical capabilities.
- Event Support:
- Provide technical setup and assistance for special programs, conferences, and outdoor events.
- Ensure that all technical aspects, including sound, lighting, and presentations, run smoothly during events.
